RAW-EDGE COGGED WIDE SECTION V-BELTS
BackRaw-edge cogged wide section V-belts are manufactured in the following designs:
• SUPER VX;
• SUPER KVX.
Compared to wrapped V-belts, notched wide section V-belts have the following advantages:
• higher efficiency;
• higher power transmission;
• better cooling;
• possibility of using smaller pulley dimensions.
Raw-edge cogged, variable-speed V-belts for power transmission, offering smooth speed adjustment of the driven pulley, often at high temperature, where wrapped V-belts have no or limited application. Thanks to their flexibility, raw-edge cogged V-belts can be installed in transmissions using pulleys with much smaller diameters without the risk of belt overload on the pulley, which permits higher transmission ratios. Raw-edge cogged variable-speed V-belts also offer high transverse stiffness, ensuring a greater compressive strength with minimum belt thickness.
